Welcome to Ashleycats. Located in central Virginia and named
for my beloved first
tortoiseshell, my
small PKD-tested cattery* is home to solid, tabby, and particolor
Persians who run free. Healthy and affectionate, my cats are
registered with the Cat Fancier's Association (the CFA) and appear
in its shows.
Although I'd lived
with cats most of my life, I'd not had Persians of my own until I
purchased my first one eighteen years ago. Obviously, I was--and
have remained-- smitten with this breed: easy
to look at, easy to live with, and easy to please, the Persian is a
precious gift.
I have been lucky to enjoy the friendship of many
wonderful breeders who share my concern for the health, the
happiness, and the display of these beautiful cats. Included
in the number of those who've generously shared their knowledge and
their lines with me are Susan Daniels (Byhishands Persians), Joe and
Mary Jo Garaux (Fanci FX),Cheryl
 Godfrey (Joymakers), Laura Lee
(Whitman Persians), and Claudia Moore (Connaught).

who've enriched my life over the years. You'll also find a digest of

that's helped me care for them.
